Once in hospital

Before your surgery there will be a lot of processes to ensure your safety. This means you will go through numerous checks to confirm your identity and the procedure you are about to have plus any drug allergies you may have and so on.

Your Anaesthetic

You will meet your anaesthetist on the day you come to hospital. They will discuss your anaesthetic options with you. If you have particular concerns about your anaesthetic, please let us know so and we can make the necessary arrangements as these can be discussed with the anaesthetist prior to your day of surgery.
