Welcome to our clinic

In order to make an appointment to see one of our specialists, you will usually need a referral from another healthcare practitioner. You are able to ask your health care provider to refer you specifically to our clinic.

We will review the referral letter and then contact you to arrange the most suitable time for you to come for an appointment. In urgent cases, a phone referral from your practitioner will enable us to expedite your care.

Both ACC and private insurers require a referral from a registered provider to fund your clinic visit, investigations or subsequent surgery.

What to Bring To your appointment

Appropriate clothing for your examination: If we are seeing you for your shoulder, please wear a singlet top for the examination. If it is a lower limb problem, shorts or loose pants that can be easily rolled above the knee.

X-rays or other imaging you have.

A list of your medical problems and medications.

If your condition is the result of an accident, please bring your ACC documentation

What to expect

You will be asked to sign a consent form prior to treatment

You will fill out a health history questionnaire

Initial consultations are between 30-60 minutes. Review consultations can take 15 – 30 minutes, but these is at the discretion of your specialist.

Payment

Payment is to be made on the day of your appointment, unless you have ACC referral, or pre-approval from your insurance company.

We are a Southern Cross Preferred Provider and are registered for “Easy Claim”

 Failure to attend your appointment or cancellation within 24 hours prior to your appointment time may result in a cancellation fee being charged as per our cancellation policy.

Cancellation Policy

Please contact us at least 24 hours before your appointment if you are unable to come so that we can offer it to someone else.

If we are not contacted and you do not arrive for your appointment, a $100 fee will be charged for new appointments and a $50 fee will be charged for review appointments.

We are unable to rebook another appointment until these fees are paid.
